This vintage dragonfly has very faded markings on the back. It is most likely circa 1950's as it was amongst other pendents from that era and has a similar design to those pieces.
Blu Rose has actually changed this piece which was previously a small pin brooch into a necklace. It has hand painted enamel wings which change in colour from turquoise teal blue to green. It is set in a gold tone metal. The rope chain which was a separate piece is made from rolled gold with this marking near the fastenings.
The dragonfly symbolizes transformation, self realization and new beginnings and would compliment any outfit.
*As this item is vintage, it will naturally show signs of wear and maybe slight imperfections, but this only adds to the history and story of the piece.
