This elegant brooch is circa 1930. It has a metal rhodie marking which means it is rhodium plated. Rhodium is a rare, expensive and highly reflective silvery white metal from the platinum group.
The bow part of the brooch is covered in clear crystal rhinestones with the petals of the flower set with emerald green and clear crystals which gives the brooch a dazzling sparkle, all set within a rhodium plated base. The fixture is a roll over safety catch pin.
